2010 was a warm and wet vintage in the Finger Lakes and Red Newt Cellars' Riesling semi-dry shows the soft fruitiness that is typical for this vintage. It has a medium straw color and a medium intensity of key lime, peach and stones. It is sweet on the palate, balanced by medium acidity. The alcohol at 11.9% is pleasant and makes for a light-bodied Riesling. Medium intensity of lush peach flavor, white cherries and apple flavors. Medium length. Drink now through 2014.

Red Newt's semi-dry Riesling is very pleasant to drink - it is balanced and soft, with supple fruit flavors. Its soft sweetness makes it a good companion for slightly spicy Mexican dishes.

In short:
Good
