This is the first single vineyard Riesling produced by Red Newt Cellars from the Sawmill Creek vineyard on Seneca Lake. In fact, it's the first single vineyard Riesling in the history of Red Newt Cellars.

Pale lemon color. Medium(-) intensity of grapefruit, quite herbal, wet stones. Quite concentrated on the palate. Very sharp acidity, very dry at first, then very mellow. Very very. A Riesling with muscle. Medium(+) intensity of grapefruit, quince and stones. Medium(+) length with a surprisingly warm fruit finish. Wow.

In short:
Very good
