A swiss in the Mosel - Daniel Vollenweider founded his estate in the year 2000, when he revived 1 ha of the Wolfer Goldgrube vineyard, making wine from nearly one hundred year-old ungrafted Riesling vines. Today he owns and farms about 4 ha of vineyards.
Daniel Vollenweider uses the traditional and today rather unusual basket press for the whole bunch pressing of his Riesling grapes.
