Shaw Vineyard is a relatively small winery that produces roughly 2,500 cases of wine every year. Winemaker Steve Shaw has been growing grapes in the Finger Lakes for over 30 years, but it was only in 2002 that he decided to produce his own wine under the label of Shaw Vineyard. He farms 50 acres and produces Riesling in the dry and semi-sweet style. Unlike most growers in the region he matures his wines in the tank for three years before releasing them.
