Current owner and winemaker Andreas Adam reactivated the Hofberg vineyard previously farmed by his grandfather. For decades the Hofberg was consigned to oblivion, left behind in one of the Middle Mosel's side valleys along a stream called Dhron, which also gave the village its name. The elegant Rieslings from A.J. Adam put the Hofberg back on the map.
