Prädikatswein

Prädikatswein, formerly known as Qualitätswein mit Prädikat, is the highest category of quality wine in Germany.

There are six distinction levels with the Prädikatswein category. In ascending order of sweetness levels these are: Kabinett, Spätlese, Auslese, Beerenauslese (BA), Eiswein, Trockenbeerenauslese (TBA).

The term is also used in Austria.
