Youthful nose. Medium intensity of hay and citrus aromas, with some minerals and tropical fruit. Sweet, medium acidity. Medium body with a very soft mouthfeel. Medium intensity of grapefruit, citrus, peach and orange peel flavors with hay and minerals shining through. Long length. The 2005 Leiwener Laurentiuslay Spätlese has nice nuances of pure citrus fruit. A perfectly balanced Riesling. Drink now or hold 12-15 years.
