Feinherb

German, literally meaning "delicately bitter", although the wine does not taste bitter, but rather dry with a touch of sweetness.

The term "feinherb" is not legally defined by the German wine law. It is often used instead "halbtrocken" on German wine labels. It is technically not as dry as the legally defined term "trocken", but depending on the acidity level in a Riesling may taste just as dry.
