Medium ruby color with a garnet rim. Developed nose with a medium intensity of black currant, blueberry, tobacco and violets. Elegant, complex. Very gentle on the palate at first, but towards the end lights a small fire of black pepper. Impressive frame for the dark fruit flavors. Still a refreshing wine with medium acidity. Alcohol is medium and well integrated. Medium length.

I wondered how well this Bordeaux would have aged. Not one of the top wines. Yet very satisfying and quite elegant.

In short:
Very good
