Pale lemon color. Medium intensity of green apple aroma. Medium sweet on the palate with medium(+) acidity. Medium alcohol and body. Medium intensity of apple and citrus fruit with a slightly spicy finish. Medium(-) length.

Brooklyn-based Oenology sourced the grapes for the "Friend" Riesling from three different vineyards around Seneca Lake in New York's Finger Lakes region. They were then vinified separately in Long Island and then blended together.

The "Friend" is the type of friend everyone likes to have: nice, polite, not loud. Everything is in balance, but it does not have much of a character and the length is a bit short. However, it paired well with the Indian cauliflower and rice dish I had for dinner so it's more than your average drink.

In short:
Average - Good
