Pale golden color. Medium intensity of apple, black berry and mineral aromas. There is also a touch of petrol. The Dhroner Riesling is dry on the palate, albeit with a hint of residual sugar. The acidity is medium high and so is the alcohol. The flavor intensity is almost pronounced, sweet berries and bitter stone fruit, very concentrated over a medium long length. The wine is at its peak now.

Good Riesling with lots of concentration, but the hot 2003 growing season did not provide it with a lot of acidity. Nevertheless, for an estate Riesling from the difficult 2003 vintage, this is good!

In short:
Good
